This rare Calathea hybrid has unique white leaves with splashes of light and dark green and a delicate, arched shape. Calatheas are part of the Marantaceae family, often called ‘Prayer Plants’ because as the light changes in the evening, the leaves rise upwards like two hands in prayer. We’ve potted this one with our tropical soil blend in a matte, white ceramic pot with a filtered drainage hole for easy watering.
LIGHT Prefers medium to bright, indirect light. Too much sun will cause the leaves to burn or fade.
WATER Allow the top 1-2 inches of soil to dry between waterings, avoiding soggy soil. Water with filtered, distilled or rainwater when possible as these plants are particularly sensitive to chemicals in tap water. Enjoys added humidity from misting the foliage.
SIZE Approximately 11"H X 9"W (Pot Size: 6" D)
